MAP SCALE OF LH.A.E.C

INTRODUCTION

MINISTRY OF EDUCAtION wants a map of Lh.A.E.C to upgrade the school. The purpose of the map is to check the exact area of the provided space and available free space.

THE TASK

This assignment can be done only if you and your partners have the knowledge of map scale and how to solve map scale problems. That’s because it is very important to draw the map of school compound with appropriate proportion. Initially draw a sketch of the school and measure all the lengths of the school one by one. Then you will decide in which ratio you are going to draw the map according to the paper size. Finally you will have a map of the school with all the measurement with scale factor given on the map.

THE PROCESS

1. Revise map scale carefully
2. Draw a sketch of the school
3. Measure all the lengths accurately
4. Write measured lengths in the map
5. Consider the ratio of map scale
6. change all the measured lengths according to the ratio
7. Draw a map scale diagram of the school on a sheet of paper.
